Join us for a series of protests in Vancouver encouraging the resignation of Irwin Cotler as Canada's current Justice Minister. Irwin Cotler will be speaking at different times over three days, at a Legal Conference of the Canadian Bar Association, on August 13, 14 and 15 and at the Wosk Center on August 15th from 7:30-9:15pm. We will be gathering for a series of protests on those dates at various times and locations. I will update this list when we have more information. You may also check out the Cannabis Culture forums for further information at:
http://www.cannabisculture.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=1130915 &page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1 The large protest will be on August 15th from 7:30-9:15pm outside of the Wosk Auditorium, located at 950 W. 41st Ave downtown Vancouver. We are calling on the public to join us in this peaceful protest. Feel free to bring signs & instruments, wear costumes and be as creative as you wish! This a protest over Canadian Rights and Freedoms but also Sovereignty. After Signing off on my own extradition order to face a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years to life in a US federal prison for allegedly watering some medical marijuana plants, Cotler has now signed off on the US warrants which have allowed the US authorities to perform a drug raid on 3 Canadians, Marc Emery, Greg Williams and Michelle Rainey who are facing extradition to the USA for allegedly filling cannabis seed orders for US customers. These alleged offenses took place in Canada! Marc, Michelle and Greg are now in the same boat I am in. We all face a 10 year mandatory minimum to life sentence in a US Federal Prison and our faces are being fast tracked through the Canadian courts at the request of the US authorities. We all now have less than 2 years to fight for our freedom here in Canada and we can't do it alone! We need the support of the Canadian public in showing their collective outrage about these injustices. Please join us if you can. Below this email is the information on Irwin Cotler's visit to Vancouver. Thank you!
