About the Cannabis Coalition For Crohn's & Colitis organization/website:

Based in Toronto, the CCCC is run by Dan Hagar, a thirty-seven year-old dashingly handsome Crohn's sufferer. The purpose of the CCCC is to act as both a source of information about IBD and as a virtual meeting place on the web for people who have an IBD.

News:

This website is new and growing; I've included all the articles and other information I could find about IBD and cannabis on the Internet. I'm also taking testimonials and personal stories from IBD sufferers that I'd like to post as inspiration to others. Also, stop by the forums and the chat...I'm sincerely hoping that in the near future we'll have a great community!

Cannabis has been used for thousands of years by humanity for its medicinal properties.

One of the main medicinal uses has been, and still is, pain and cramp relief for digestive disorders and diseases. One of the most common effects of cannabis is increasing the appetite ("the munchies"), which also greatly helps IBD sufferers in maintaining proper nutrition.

Cannabis isn't for everybody, just as one medicine may work for one person but not another. This website doesn't advocate your own personal use of marijuana, but is an information resource by and for IBD sufferers who find cannabis useful in the daily living with their disease.
